It’s looks like a small deli that used to be someone’s house, and they only had one of their beers on tap, the golden ale, and well, I guess I don’t have much choice, golden ale it is, and I’ll drink it while watching "When Harry Met Sally" on the tube. Not expecting much, I am pleasantly surprised. It’s a pretty standard golden ale, grainy, moderately sweet, mildly bitter with a subtle but spicy hoppiness. Grainy nose is mildy spicy from the hops. Light body. Hazy, light golden color. Small, white head settles to a broken film, leaving a bit of lace at the top of the glass. Not my favorite style, but for the style, this is fine, but the movie is better... Oakes (8166), Kowloon, Hong Kong
