One of the weirdest and worst beers I’ve ever had. There is some kind of tabasco sauce flavor that overwhelms the whole beer. Seriously, hot sauce for crying out loud! Also, it is as if there is some liquid smoke poured in. Absolutely disgusting.

Pours a clear golden colour with no head. Aroma is grainy, corn, grass and stale hops. Taste is pretty malty overall, little bit of corn and pear on the palate. Otherwise drainpour.

Bottle bought in Ooty, TN. Light yellow. Clear. Off white quickly diminíshing head. Sweet and bready aroma. Has a tad of perfume as well. Flavour of rye bread and sweetness. Very thin and anonymous. Watery. Sweetish end. Is quite harmless, but even as a thirstquencher it itn’t good.

Clear golden, moderate head with some lacing and retention. Aroma is glue, sweet pale malts, minimal hops. Light bodied, quite sweet. Clearly inferior to 10000 Monks or whatever haha.

A friend brought this to dinner since we were having Indian/Sri Lankan food; it definitely was the center of a few conversations. After having a sample I decided it wasn’t worth dirtying a glass over. There is some chemical component to the aroma and taste that is overpowering, almost like formaldehyde or perhaps weak Arrack, accompanied by malty sweetness. Maybe there are good qualities in the crispness or carbonation, but it would be hard to say so given the generally awful taste. This beer was so bad that it was enjoyable in a perverse way. One of the worst beers I’ve had in a while. Take my appearance rating with a grain of salt because my only good look at it was while I was pouring it down the drain.

Bottle from World Market. Golden color upon pouring. Weird toasty aroma. Almost smells like a smoked. Very odd flavor at first. Like a smoked plastic beer. Actually it’s not really that bad.

Not sure how much different this is from my earlier rating for Tantra from this brewer. Tasting this one while looking at those notes makes me think it is the same beer. Terrible dirty flavour. Thin. Imagine that it is 40 degrees Celsius and you are dying of thirst and you can finish it, even starting to imagine that if this was all there was you might develop some appreciation for the sweet notes under the rough edge, might develop a familiarity for it’s unique formaldehyde flavour. But till then I will stick to the familiarity or the traditional hop and malt flavours of the Western World.

12 oz. poured into my trusty stein- poured transparent medium golden color, white bubbly head quickly disappeared. Aroma of sour malt and hard water, a little disheartening. Hits the mouth with a thin body, bad or subpar malt used from the taste, kind of like a malt liquor. Hops can be found on the finish, but the malt is too overpoweringly bad. Avoid.
