| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Mar 3, 2007 Cold 12oz bottle: Pours a clear golden yellow color with absolutely no head. Aroma is of light malts, grass, earth and light fruits. Taste is at first of light malts with a crescendo of earthy hops and descends to notes of grass and light fruits. Watery texture and hardly carbonated. Ending is of earth and some sour notes; very dirty tasting. Volgon (2489), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 20, 2007 Aroma of slightly sweet malt. Somewhat hazy, copper tinged, gold color. The white head went quickly, but left spider web designs on the surface. Starts with what I can only describe as light iodine, followed by an interlude of clean flavor, ending with something more like creosote than anything else that comes to mind. After a few more trys it becomes more like a regular lager with herbal components. I don’t think it’s skunked, nothing like that. It’s just different, and I suspect it would go really well with spicy foods. I’d say it’s more for pairing with food than for casual drinking. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 25, 2006 Poured a clean fizzy gold with a small white head and fizzy bubbles. Malty aroma with some sweetness but thats it. Light malt flavor and done. There is a second component that appears at the finish and that is tartness. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dry finish. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 24, 2006 Pours a clear, effervescent pale golden with a clingy-lacing shorter-lived white head. Bland, lightly malty aroma has a hint of oats and soft fruitiness with some earthy noble hops in the background. Overcarbonated airy body starts with some grassy bland bitterness and a clean, dry finish. Drinkable, but very boring.
