I had it on tap and it went well with the sea food. Balanced and kind of sweet.

I have a history with this beer. I printed the t-shirts for this company before they eventually went out of business. The beer was nothing special, it blended with the mass of microbrewed ales...

Bottle Conditioned. Light hazy caramel color like a distant sunset into the ocean. Light film of head & lacing. The aroma is malty with caramel/diacetyl and faint hops. The flavor is nutty, briefly sweet with an almost Velveeta fudge finish. Odd. Not too bad though, easy to drink. Kind of expected this to be an old bottle as it was bought on closeout at a grocery outlet.

Another retired beer. This was mild, without much of a flavor profile. Seems pretty much ho hum. Overall, whatever.

Ok second beer from the now extict brewery..same brown 12 oz bottle. Nice enough appearance for a golden ale..slightly hazy golden beer with a nice sized pure white head. Very "cotton candy" like aroma..lot of sugars it appears this beer hasn't survived as well as the Amber under the harsh gorocery store lights. ..Not good medicinal sugar taste..think this is definatly a dead beer..some faint malt. too sweet on my tongue. Not very drinkable..but who knows it might have been a good beer at one time.

Dark gold color, large head. Aroma is fruity, peaches and apricots. A medium bodied Pale ale. Hoppy and slightly bitter. Some malt sweetness. Nice flavor. Good taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

I remember the toffee caramel flavor which was a real surprise in their pilsner, but even bigger surprise was that this tasted almost identical. A little too sweet overall.
