Picked this up at a local shop because it was a bit different and very cheap. Pours an copper color with a decent head but nothing to rave about. The scent is citrus mixed with cheap beer/malt liquor. The taste matches the smell pretty well. The flavor of this beer is pretty much Old Style with grapefruit/lemon flavoring. Did not care for it too much.

Aug 21, 2008 I really like this beer. Pours a golden brown and has a pale white head. I’ve had this beer three times and each time it gets better. Deffinately worth trying.

Jul 16, 2008 Semi hazy amber with a quickly dissipating white head that laces a little as it fades. Aroma of floral and citrus hops, yeast, cereal with some vegetal properties. Body is effervescent with citrus and caramel leading up to a medium bitter finish that has some sweetness to it. The hop character on the finish isn’t very well defined… Bargain bin pale ale.

Jul 12, 2008 Coppery brown color with a small but firm head. Herbal and citrus bitterness in the aroma along with a hint of grain and malt. Flavor is a light hit of tart citrus with a cereal malt finish. It’s a little lighter than most APA’s but still a very drinkable beer. Nice to see City Brewery branching out a bit.

Mar 26, 2008 Herbal, leafy, citrusy hop aromas. Leafy bitterness, coppery metallic edge. Simple and drinkable.
