stchloe (473), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 11, 2008 I am the strong opinion that any beer that needs an accompaniment is inherently lacking. Especially true if a taster requires a lemon slice. Angeloregon (2024), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 28, 2008 Sample from Golden Valley Brewery in McMinnville, OR--Light clear straw body with a thin soapy white head. Sweet, corn biscuit nose. Bright, creamy, mildly sweet, cereal finish. Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 24, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. A hazy light yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet citrusy with a light underlying note of wheat. The flavor is sweet citrusy with light notes of oranges and wheat. The body is thin - no wonder at 3.7% ABV. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA Nov 27, 2007 Pours hazy yellow with thin head. Pretty decent as far as wheat beers go. Smooth, crisp, and refreshing. Flavor was dry. linc33 (177), Albany, New York, USA Jul 2, 2006 On tap at Golden Valley Brewing. Green-yellow in color, slight haze. Corn aroma. Surprising taste based on aroma - citrus with almost light wine flavours. Thin mouthfeel but pleasant aftertaste. BrewDad (2363), Olympia, Washington, USA Jun 26, 2006 [Tap – Brewery]
Easy to drink light golden colored beer. A subtle nose with a fruity finish this was a unfiltered beer that is a great hot weather beer.
harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA Jan 2, 2006 This beer just sucked to me, and everything I taste just comes across as a knock off of Widmer and I have never liked it and never will. I agree with what Buch Dich said completely CaptKirk (175), Hephzibah, Georgia, USA Oct 26, 2005 I enjoy a good wheat beer. This one was one of the best. IWonderful citrus aroma and not an over powering lemon taste that I appreciate. Just a hint of raspberry in the finish. If going to see the sprouse goose, then you need to treat yourself to this place and enjoy a pint.
