Nov 5, 2009 Bomber courtesy of hayduke. Hazy/cloudy golden orange pour. There was a thick white head and a nice sticky laciness. The nose is lightly spicy with a little bit of soft bready malts. A bit of light spicy and some soft yeasty doughiness. There is a bit of lightly toasted character that likely shouldn’t be there. It has an unusual minerally bitterness but also an odd sticky sweetness. Meh... I’m not really a fan of this one.

Sep 30, 2009 From a 22 oz bottle purchased from the Market of Choice in Eugene, Oregon this poured a cross between amber and gold, with good sized white head and light lacing. Nose of citrus and floral hops. Medium body and mouthfeel. Flavor of caramel malts and light hoppy bitterness which shows up in the dry finish as well. Relatively mild for its style, more like an APA but quite decent.

May 13, 2009 22 oz bottle from Market of Choice. Pours yellowish-amber with a thin white head that barely lasted. Aroma full of caramel and some mustiness and light floral hops. The flavor was slightly skunked and had a little bit more malt than hop to it. This beer makes me ashamed to admit that one of my best friends lives on the mountain it’s named for.
