Aug 15, 2005 On tap at the brewery. Pours a copper/red with great clarity and a white head. Nice and malty start, but the hops were too much for my taste, long trailing bitter finish with a slight green hop taste in the finish. To much bitterness in my opinion.

Jan 17, 2006 This was not terrible, but not great either. This one goes from salty to sweet to sour, and never really seems to quite get it together in the mouthfeel. Lots of alcohol and semi sour fruits are present in the aroma, which leads into this malty and overly hopped for the style.

Jul 25, 2004 Updated: Jul 26, 2004Brownish Gold, no head. Fruity, malty aroma - apples, maybe? Nicely effervescent. Sweet, bready - like muffins. Some berry flavors, as well. Slightly salty, spicy finish. Very rich and nicely balanced. Thanks, Secret Santa!

Dec 17, 2007 From a 12 oz. bottle--a distinctive burnt sienna/copper colored lager with an outstanding malt taste and pleasing hop undertones. Though it is debatable whether this bock is a "true lager" as noted by the brewery, the hint of apple in this beer is far from overbearing. This bock finishes quite smooth though a little dull.

Jun 11, 2003 It took some time to find someone who had this for sale but i found one,now i await patiently the correct temprature for sampling this brew.Ahhh,it's ready.
Nice orange,red color,small white head that was short lived.Malty aroma mildly sweet and a small spice presence as well.Very nice flavor,sweet malt,spicey,lightly hopped,with a faint fruit presence,there is a very light alcohol hint to this brew but it seems to be fairly well hidden and just gives the slight hint of it's presence.The feel is very smooth with a malty,spicey,hop after taste that is quite pleasant.This is a great brew and highly drinkable in a large quantity IMO.I wish i had bought more then one,but i knowtheyhave alot more to sell so i know what my next order is going to contain.

Sep 28, 2006 Pours a five finger off-white head that fades to a ring leaving some lace. Cloudy amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Apple/malty nose. Starts sweet, apple cider flavor, some burnt apple at finish. Very smooth, easy to drink. $1.40 for a 12oz bottle from Liquid Solutions Tigard, Or.

Mar 27, 2004 "A true lager" according to the label.
Well the aroma on this is quite exquisite if you are a fan of nicelly done malts..nice stuff.
The beer also has good looks, chesnut brown with a small off white head..nice lacing.
again i liked the taste of the malts very full and not to sweet..creamy at the front of the tongue than it gets dry at the end..I like this..aids consumption!!
Overall a nice lager beer indeed ..not sure if its a real bock..it tastedike some Kellerbiers I have had..but worth a try.Tasty session type brew.
