Bottle courtesy of gunhaver. Pours clear copper with thin white head. The aroma is pretty full with brown sugar, prunes, raisins and ripe cherries. The taste is dark fruity sweet with raisins, smooth sweet cherries and prunes followed by brown sugar. It dries out a bit into the finish with a pulse of sweet malts taking the experience into the after taste.

Pours yellow-brown with a slight white head. Nose is phenol, fruit, booze, sugar, and some caramel. Flavor is malty, spice, and some floral qualities. Nice floral hoppy finish. Interesting winter brew. It has neither tannens, nor the bomb within, though.

Dark amber with a small cream color head, fair lacings. Aroma is spicy, caramel. Taste is roasted malts with just enough hops to balance this powerhouse brew. Alcohol is fairly well masked in the taste. The effect is much more evident though. Nice winter brew. Not a session beer!

Another one of those instances where the name is far superior to the actual beer. Disappointing but not awful.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium copperish / amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Lots of suspended floaters. Aromas of caramel, toasted malts, nutty, and some dark fruits. Tastes of caramel, dark fruits, and toffee. Alcohol content well hidden.
