Draft at JClydes, Birmingham. Opaque with a lasting, creamy head. Coffee nose with some light chocolate. Flavor is coffee and more coffee, with some light caramel. Medium body is a bit too thin, and roasty dry.

Served cold from tap somewhere in Birmingham, Alabama. I think it was a BBQ joint. Pours black with a lasting off-white head. Nice coffee aroma with roasted malt notes. Flavor of light floral hops, chocolate and coffee. Medium bodied. Very good stout.

When I first tasted this brew, I thought - uh-oh, it’s late at night and I just started drinking coffee. Oh well, it probably helped for the ride home. It was one of Good People’s better brews in my opinion. I wouldn’t mind having some again.

Had on tap in Birmingham. Aroma is big coffee with a hint of sour. The flavor is dry roast and coffee up front followed by chocolate flavors and just a dash of hops. Nice smooth mouthfeel.

growler at Free the Hops meeting, Huntsville, AL pours black, beige/mocha head. aroma and taste, chocolate malts, oat for a nice thick palate. Hops give this brew a nice floral and bitter chocolate mouthfeel without hampering the stout quality. Light coffee in the finish.
