| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 18, 2009 Nice golden hue, very pretty lacing down the side of the glass. Head sticks around for a while. Very balanced malt and hop characteristics, very cascade. Not a dry pale ale, but not at all sweet; just enough to quench your thirst. unclemattie (2431), Georgia, USA

Thick rocky white head. Nice lace. Smells perfect. Nice deep pale malts. Flavor has lots of citrus hops. Gigantic malt body. Perfectly balanced. Smooth and creamy. Delicious. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 5, 2009 These was a fair brew - medium bodied and soft, but crisp and hoppy. Not great for a pale ale, but decent for a Good People beer. Still seems unbalanced though. Peterlemonjelo (35), Birmingham, Alabama, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2009 Nice beer served on tap at J. Clyde.
Pours a dark yellow with a touch of amber. Nice head with plenty of lacing.
Smell is hop dominant....citrus and floral.
Taste is hoppy of center with citrus esters. Not overly dry but nothing sweet about the finish.
Mouthfeel is appropriate for style.
Very drinkable APA. Hoppier than some but and easily sessionable beer.
Nice APA. Dogface (12), Birmingham, Alabama, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 24, 2009 A dark orange with a pretty thin head that disappears quickly. Aroma is light and somewhat sweet...not to hoppy, and even a dash of sourness mixed in...OK for an APA. Flavor is some burnt malts, and a whole lot of bitterness, without much of a hop profile coming through otherwise...maybe a hint of the Cascade hops.....concur with others that this is a bit confusing for the style.
