An aggressive pour leaves a thin white head above a hazy golden body. Yeasty aroma with citric hops, pear and honey. Sweet and soft with lots of honey sweetness, apple and pear, bubblegum yeast and lemongrass bitterness. The finish is fruity, bitter and dry. The effervescent carbonation and slick medium body make it quafable and suitable for the flavours present.

A great Belgian, a great beer. Notes of orange, honey and sunshine. A sweeter Belgian than I am used to, absolutely, but a fantastic creation.

Slightly hazy, golden sunset color with thin but creamy white head. Fresh grapefruit, lemongrass, pear, banana and almond in the nose. Some floral undertones. Creamy texture with a high drinkability. Finishes smooth and hoppy, with just a hint of bitterness. An excellent beer.

Deep golden pour; weak white head. Strong aroma is dominated by darker fruits and some citrus along with yeasty accents. Flavor is somewhat bland, or rather it doesn’t live up to the hype/aroma. A conglomerate of hop flavors accentuated by light fruits, particularly grapes, and some sugary accents. Debated cellaring this one for a while, but my tasting doesn’t really give me the feeling that a cellaring would help this one too much. Well, for how good the GI Bourbon Cty Stout was, I’ll be content with my mild disappointment here.

Bottle sampled. Pours a hazy gold color with a small white head.Aroma of citrus, grass, yeast, malts, and some floral notes. Flavor is full bodied and smooth with caramel, wheat, yeast, alcohol, and a hint of honey with some bitterness at the finish. A very good belgian strong

In short: A soft (too soft) and fruity (pears mainly) Belgian blonde ale. Bland.
How: Mtl-crew Halloween-tasting session.
The look: Partly cloudy yellow-blonde body with a small white ring
In long: Dominant flavour is sweet pears in watery honey. Rather generously hoped. Hops have that juicy floral flavour that I usually associate to dry-hopping although I was told it is not the case here. No alcohol presence. Lean body. Carbonation is soft, too soft. Actually to me the entire beer is too soft and not very tasty. Bland product from a brewery I usually like a lot. Disappointing. I never thought I would one day tear down a demolition, sounds so grammatically incorrect.

Citriusy nose, mostly orange. Hops are present slightly in the nose and the mouth, but no bitterness. Good, but ho-hum

Bottle. Pours a nice cloudy copper with a small and quickly dissolving head. Aromas of strong citrusy hop spice. Tongue of nice biting hops with an understated sweet butterscotch flavor. Pretty good, but not as good as advertised.
