Brewed to honor the brave souls who kept our brew pub open in the early 90’s while wrecking balls tore down the mall around us. Dry and smooth, with a grassy, citrus aroma and a honey malt middle. Brew House notes Style: Belgian Style Golden Ale Alcohol by Volume: 6.7% IBU’s: 45 Hops: Saaz, Chinook Malt: Pilzen Cellarman’s Notes. Demolition will remain fresh 180 days from the bottled on date. This beer seems to grow on you. At first it seems rather offensive, but after awhile it seems to taste rather swell !!! Not unlike Kentucky Bourbon .... YEE HAW !!!

Pours a golden orange color with a medium white head. Aroma is caramel malty with a strong hoppy presence. Taste is of caramel and honey malt with faint citrus hop tones. Enjoyable, but nothing spectacular.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a snifter, cloudy orange with no head. The aroma was of citrus and yeast. The taste was dominated by floral hops, with a touch of citrus, slightly bitter with a bready nose. A bit more hoppy than I would expect from a Belgian style ale. Not to my personal taste.

Poured from bottle...Poured a cloudy orange color with medium frothy head...Aroma of grass and citrus. This one kind of threw me for a loop...The malt taste was heavy up front, and the sweet, caramel, citrus flavors were left behind...Kind of different then most beers I have had to date...My first reaction was to NOT like this, but as I let it warm up and continued drinking it, I really enjoyed the flavors.

sampled at blind "Better Know a Style: Belgian Strong Ale" tasting 07. poured clear orange with almost no head. nose is very sweet, belgian candy sugar, grape, plums, and very yeasty. not a big nose however. flavor was very bland and sweet. pretty boring. mouthfeel was syrupy and decent. a crisp finish but too syrupy sweet. 2.9.

4/6/09, 22oz, bottled 2 weeks ago. Heritage Collection ’09 with a changed recipe (now 6.7%abv w/ chinoks instead of styrian hops). pours clear straw color with white head. nose has a grassy and floral hop character. flavors are very grassy, leathery, and earthy hop notes with a slight tart then sweet pils malt backbone. carbonation is a bit high which fits the beer. this reminds me more of a slightly sweeter Belgian Pils. improved beer and it would be killer to see this in 6pks. 3.6.

Aroma was good. Apperance was nice. I just didnt like the flavor. It was in between two Imperial IPAs so maybe that had something to do with it. Gotta love the name though.

Caramel malt and brown sugar aroma comes from a hazy golden brown body. Medium to full palate. Light caramel malt with hints of earth and hops.
