| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 23, 2006 pours like a tripel, smells like a tripel, but doesn’t quite taste like a tripel. it’s a muddy orange color with a wheaty/bready citrus aroma which punctuates the pale malt and clean noble hops. it tastes like an ’imperial witbier’ with the thick wheat flavors and the complex yeast flavors. for all the sweetness that the malt would create, there must be a ton of hops in here to result in the residual bitterness that this beer leaves on your palate. better than i expected it to be! gearbike (418), West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 22, 2006 Golden with a small head. Subtal but sweet aroma. Strong hoppy sticky taste. Kind of stratles that area between a nice sesion beer and a special pour. bgburdman9 (823), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 16, 2006 Fresh 2006 bottle. Poured a dark golden color with a descent size white head. Aroma was a little spicy, earthy, and malty. I also got a little citrusy aroma and flavor. This goose island also had a little more body than the other belgians which was nice. A little bitterness and also a little alcohol coming through. buckybeer (666), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 6, 2006 Cloudy peach body. Thin white head with good lacing. Aromas of fruit, sugary, apricot, honey. Taste is quite sweet, but not cloying. You can tell this is malty, but there is some hoppiness present as well. Not mind blowing for the style, but a solid decent brew from GI.
