Brewed to honor the brave souls who kept our brew pub open in the early 90’s while wrecking balls tore down the mall around us. Dry and smooth, with a grassy, citrus aroma and a honey malt middle. Brew House notes Style: Belgian Style Golden Ale Alcohol by Volume: 6.7% IBU’s: 45 Hops: Saaz, Chinook Malt: Pilzen Cellarman’s Notes. Demolition will remain fresh 180 days from the bottled on date. Pour is clear golden/light amber with a beautifully dense off white brownish head...smell is dry and indeed hoppy...very grassy and herbal...taste is sweet and citrusy at first, followed by a strong soapy bitterness...very odd...good, but odd...

really good. pretty dark for a golden beer. the knowledgeable guy talking about orval said this is a takeoff of some other popular belgian. well, i loved it and got a second glass of it. pretty complex, hugely malty, not very spicy. good job, GI.

Orange colourd with a medium fluffly head on top that faded away quickly into a thin foam that covered about 60% of the beer. There is kind of faint note of hops with what I feels like a mix of orange and grassy notes. Thick and creamy mouthfeel. This is kind of dry tasting with a bitter middle, and a finish of some grassy floral notes and orange again. I’m left with an after taste of bitterness.

Bottle. Poured a hazy dark orange with a minimal off-white head. Lacing was evident. A nice rich aroma of citrus that managed to be sweet and spicy with some complementing floral notes. A grassy hops upfront with a bold malt body that hinted of honey, before a nice bitter finish that lingers. Full bodied and smooth with a faint tingle this beer was incredibely enjoyable.

Hazy golden orange in color with a small off white head that disapates quickly and leaves moderate lacing. Aroma of oranges and fresh cut grass. The taste of alcohol slightly over powers the character of the hops in the finish. But still very nice.

Orange amber body with pretty subtantial foamy head that laces nicely as it dissipates. Aromas are pleasant, of hops, grass and orange peel. Maybe a bit of a mead like honey note, too. Flavor is nice, but slightly astringent on the backside. Grassy and sweet with some whiskey. A bit unbalanced in the finish as alcohol takes over... but nice.

This is a very dry Belgian ale. The hops are bitter and this beerr lacks any hint of fruit or sweet malt so characteristic of the style. It is cloudy and gold but no sediment I can see. Medium palate. Comparable to Arabier but a touch sweeter and a better palate.
