Aroma is of hops, citrus, spice, coriander, and grain. Taste is very spicy with lots of lemon zest. Decent hop character mixed in the brew. Notes of coriander. Has a very biscuity malt base to it, that seems out of place. Finish is very peppery. Mouthfeel is very light, yet hard to put back. I really did not enjoy this beer as much as I had anticipated. A pleasant creamy malt aroma, with light pear notes, berries, cloves, and licorice. In mouth, an interesting fruity ester, bubblegum, a bit of cream corn. Medium bodied. Nice and balanced. Poured yellow/gold in color with a small white head that lasted as a film on top of the beer. Slightly hazy. Slightly sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet and slightly bitter. Tastes of yeast, pale malts, spices, slight citrus, grains, and a hint of fruit. Light to medium body. Slick, lightly chalky texture. Average carbonation. Yeasty, lightly sweet, finish is a bit dry. swoopjones (1920), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 14, 2009 NIcely served in a logo chalice at Lunar Brewing Co. for the Past Meets Present tasting put on by GI. The pour was fairly clear and golden with a light, white head that diminished to a film but left some clingy lacing. The aroma was distinctive Belgian yeast, a hint of banana, (as a Tripel) a little breadiness and sweetness. The flavor combined the sweetness of malt, and fruit as apple and pear with a pleasant dryness that continued to the finish. Pawola22 (778), Kansas City, Missouri, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 12, 2009 22oz bottle. Pours a bright, pure golden body with just a slight haze. Finger-width, fluffy, snow white head that dissipates slowly and leaves lots of soapy lacing. A slight swirl rises this a great deal. Very sexy beer. Aroma is sweet and straightforward, but solid. Malty with a distinct Belgian yeast and banana smell. Some sugary-grassy citrus, Belgian candies, and a mild spicing. Similar flavor and a very nice, soft balance. Mild and delicate throughout before a dry finish. Sweet malts as well as a light spicy citrus lingering taste. Palate is medium bodied, crisp, and very clean. Goes down incredibly easy because the spicing is so soft and mild. Some tickling carbonation livens up the palate a little bit on the back of the tongue. Overall, a very well put together beer. Straightforward, but very nice. I can’t stress how soft the flavors are. Not a big beer at all, but quite enjoyeable. cgarvieuk (4212), Edinburgh, Scotland
