The flavor is sweet malty with notes of fruit and dusty hops, leading to a dry straw finish. bitbucket (2034), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 15, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear dark gold with a thin but lacy white head. Spicy fruit nose. Medium body and carbonation. Sweet fruit and nuts taste, with a spicy/grassy finish. The bitterness of the finish doesn’t come thru until the very end when the sugar finally dissipates. gax33 (11), Minooka, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 26, 2008 Nice hoppy taste without being too bitter. This would make for a great junkfood and ballgame beer - not terribly interesting but real easy to drink. rds (230), USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 18, 2008 A cloudy golden stong ale with a wee white head, a very hoppy bouquet, and a slightly bitter finish. This 2007 model was very pleasing, with a nice clean taste. jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 21, 2008 Bottle from 2006. Pours a hazy orange with an off white head. Pine and citrus hops aroma. Well balanced, the malt and citrus hops are pretty equal. I actually thought it was sort of thin...maybe I should I took it out of the cellar before. Was still a good beer though.
