Hoppy, citrusy nose. Medium body with lightly sweet fruit notes and a dry, astringent and fairly hoppy finish. There’s nothing much Belgian about this. 171207 yespr (12429), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Hoppy fruity and slight liqourice nose. Flavour is slight spiced and solid malty. Goes into a classic strong US hoppy flavour, although more on the bitter side than the floral/fruity side. Ends bitter. omhper (12299), Stockholm, Sweden

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 18, 2008 Bottled on 2007-02-22, 1 year old, 8% ABV It pours a cloudy orange-copper color, with a creamy head that disappears quite quickly. In the beginning the aroma is sweet and malty, but this as well vanishes; and later there is more accent on the partially fruity hop, light but nice. It has a good mouthfeel, with a very good toffee flavor and a good hopping, both well bitter and aromatic, with dry resins and character. Long final, very bitter, of Belgian memory. A solid Belgian Strong Ale. argo0 (7027), Washington DC, USA
