emacgee (1136), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Jun 20, 2008 Shared by Jason. Bottled in 2006 and it shows it. Pours a hazy peachy amber with an offwhite head. The nose is subdued with age, earthy, yeasty, no alcohol, hops have been lost. The flavor is earthy, shows no alcohol, a lightly grassy hop flavor, feels like most of it has been lost to age. Malt begins to show through a lot as well, basement feel and a light Belgian character. Feels smooth in the mouth with no carbonation. Like to try this fresh.
gax33 (11), Minooka, Illinois, USA Sep 26, 2008 Nice hoppy taste without being too bitter. This would make for a great junkfood and ballgame beer - not terribly interesting but real easy to drink. rds (119), USA Sep 18, 2008 A cloudy golden stong ale with a wee white head, a very hoppy bouquet, and a slightly bitter finish. This 2007 model was very pleasing, with a nice clean taste. jeffwilliams11 (278), hooterville, Michigan, USA Sep 6, 2008 very tasty...nothing overly crazy to write about, just a damn tasty beer. would definately buy again. chicagodri (553), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 21, 2008 Bottle from 2006. Pours a hazy orange with an off white head. Pine and citrus hops aroma. Well balanced, the malt and citrus hops are pretty equal. I actually thought it was sort of thin...maybe I should I took it out of the cellar before. Was still a good beer though. Beerman6686 (780), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 9, 2008 Poured a golden color with a white head. Aroma was of some spices and not much more. Flavor was also a bit spicey but mainly bland and not too much else to say.
