Commercial Description:
Like the digits suggest, it's a beer that's densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don't filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

On tap at Chigaco Midway airport. Consumed two, served in frosty pint glasses, around 12pm. Aroma was barely noticable, but some hops and graininess present. Had a light yellow color but strangely hazy appearance. The flavors were more like a rather intense pilsner or helles, not anything too reminiscent of wheat. I enjoyed this beer thoroughly, I was surprised by how much flavor and delicate bready graininess it possessed. I ordered this one because it was the only "local brew" on the menu. That’s what the servers told me anyway. It was pretty dang good, I wish I could get my hands on it, I’d like to get a few six packs to work on...

Not bad at all. It’s not anything to write home about, but it’s a solid choice if you want a wheat beer. I’d prefer Hoegaarden for sure, but if you’re in the midwest, some 312 wouldn’t be a bad choice.

On tap at (do not laugh) TGI Fridays in Chicago by Midway Airport. Pours a clear pale gold with a nice fruity/wheat aroma. Flavour has a definite fruity lemon like hook to the wheat body and light grassy hop. Went very well with JD BBQ Steak and Onion Rings...

There’s a reason that Goose Island took this off their seasonal list and started brewing it year round. Their description of 312 as having "densely populated flavor" is definitely accurate. There’s a lot more depth of flavor than most wheat bears, but it still remains quite refreshing despite having a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Has a hazy look to it with slight head. A very nice and easy to drink beer for me. Has a slight lemon twist to it. not a very complex beer at all but a nice every day drinking beer.

Pours hazy light straw color with a small white head. Faint nose, light fruit and grassy hops. Similar flavor, light and crisp, somewhat hoppy with some lemon and grass. This is an easy to drink beer, would be a little better if the flavors were more prominent.

Decent beer. Tastes fruity and pours with little head. Not very complex but fairly enjoyable. Not much aftertaste

Poured a golden hazy light color with little head. Aroma was fairly minimal. Overall a nice, easy drinking beer.
