Commercial Description:
Like the digits suggest, it's a beer that's densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don't filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

There’s a reason that Goose Island took this off their seasonal list and started brewing it year round. Their description of 312 as having "densely populated flavor" is definitely accurate. There’s a lot more depth of flavor than most wheat bears, but it still remains quite refreshing despite having a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Has a hazy look to it with slight head. A very nice and easy to drink beer for me. Has a slight lemon twist to it. not a very complex beer at all but a nice every day drinking beer.

Pours hazy light straw color with a small white head. Faint nose, light fruit and grassy hops. Similar flavor, light and crisp, somewhat hoppy with some lemon and grass. This is an easy to drink beer, would be a little better if the flavors were more prominent.

Boring straw yellow pour with little head. Lots of carbonation. Weak scent, hard to pick up, slightly sweet and a bit hoppy? Much deeper taste then expected. A uniquely sweet and deep hops taste. I’m guessing it’s the Goose Island Hops, actally I’m hoping it is as it’s rather good and I picked up another beer form the same brewery. Suprisingly clean finish. The carbonation isn’t nearly as bad in the mouth. A nice easy to drink beer with a good deep sweet flavour. Would be a nice session beer.

actually reminds me of a couple of goose islands other fine beers particularly matilda and the pere. tastes and body are quite acceptable to me. sweet and just a touch syrupy with a nice touch of hops and yes it is loaded with character fruity and somewhat spicy actually more of a chemical type spice flavor. a pure type of brew it is vibrant and interesting.
