Commercial Description:
Like the digits suggest, it's a beer that's densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don't filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

Light golden yellow pouring with a 1 inch white head and exhibiting good carbonation. Aroma is lightly sour malt. Flavor is light sour wheat. Body is medium and carbonation medium and brief. Finish is a little doughy.

I got this on draft at Tractor’s in Jackson, MO. It came a hazy yellow, with a fizzy white hesd and light lacing.Nose of wheat and citurs. Mild mouthfeel. Flavor is bsnana and citrus. Dry finish.

On tap at Gino’s East Pizza. Pours a hazy wheat looking golden yellow. Lighter looking than most wheats though. Small foamy white head that goes away fast. Not a very strong aroma, but some wheat and lemon to it. Not too complex. Pretty wheaty taste with some citrus lemons and a little bit grainy. Overall, a bad example of what Goose Island is to me. I love this brewery, but this beer is just not that good. I understand and support the whole mass producing crappy beer thing to make money, but it doesnt make me feel any better about this beer.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a foamy head. You know you’re off to a bad start when a beer looks EXACTLY like your urine. Sweet wheaty aroma with some floral and lemony notes. Slightly sweet wheaty malt with a lemony flavor that borders on an annoying sourness. Really bad acidic finish and weird metallic aftertaste. Thin bodied. I bought this with a misplaced reliance on the prestige of the G.I. brand. Waste of money.

Pretty terrible. Maybe I’m just not crazy about wheat ales, but this one sucked. Sour and boring.

Pours a hazy white yellow with a two finger creamy white head. The nose is wheaty, some lemongrass, a little grainy. The flavor is thin and grainy, some lemongrass, one dimensional. Thin mouthfeel. Not too great.

Great summer beer! Smooth with just the right bite at the end, more than a few is not a problem!
