This was served with a lemon, which obscured the aroma somewhat, I just got some light fruits and faint spices. Flavor predominantly of wheat, light fruits, flour, pizza dough. I found this quite tasty. Perhaps this must be had super super fresh to be enjoyable. Contrary to what the ratings of this beer suggest, I really liked this wheat ale. bigtaster (184), Grand Rapids, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 22, 2008 Pours hazy pale lemon yellow with white head. Aroma of strong citrus, lemon and grapefruit. Flavor is a bland wheat with a smidgen of citrus and yeast. The flavor is dominated by carbonation. Reminds me too much of the typical American macro brew. GJF (513), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 20, 2008 This was my firsting whack at a Goose Island product. Hopefully the rest of their line will turn out to be better than this one. Not a bad tasting beer but really no outstanding qualiities. Pretty much an average wheat, definitely not worth the premium price you pay for it. hombrepalo (780), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2008 Missed this one. This has to be the most popular micro brew in chicago. Its nice and refreshing on a summer day and better than any macro brews here. So why not. Pours cloudy hazy yellow some head, an unfiltered look. Smell is of spice and wheat. Taste is of a faint watered down citrus/malts/wheat/spices and lots and lots of water. Finish is lifeless. Overall an average wheat. esjaygee (1581), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 8, 2008 Hazy pale yellow with a slowly diminishing soapy white head. Aroma of wheat, citrus and perfumed malts. Taste of wheat and corn in a thin and lifeless body that finishes astringent. I think I’ll stick to rural wheat beers. shendrix (478), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 8, 2008 An aggressively average beer, pouring golden yellow into my chilled glass with a substantial white head. The flavor is a malty wheat blandness with the merest hint of a hoppy follow through. Rogueone (506), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA
