Commercial Description:
Like the digits suggest, it's a beer that's densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don't filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

Poured a surprisingly clear pale gold color. For all the chest beating they do in their description about how it’s "unfiltered, hazy & cloudy" it really wasn’t all that much so. The aroma was mild citrus, over light barley and wheat. Overall aroma was restrained, but not unpleasant. The flavor was a nice blend of light citrus with some nice wheat and hops that provided a nice finish. Decent mouthfeel. Refreshing and easy to drink. Not bad.

Draught at Cabooses, Geneva, Illinois. I think this may have been the only microbeer available at this train station bar. It was served way too cold and had barely any aroma. However, when faced with Budweiser and Miller Lite, this is miles ahead.

12oz bottle-pours a foamy/bubbly white head and hazy yellow color. Aroma is sweet light malty/wheat/creamy/rich, some citrus. Taste is sweet light malty/wheat/creamy/rich, some citrus-orange, some spices. Light side of medium body, some complexness but easy drinking. Good effervescence. Thanks to decaturstevo for sharing.

Draught at Cabooses, Geneva, Illinois. This hazy pale yellow beer was preferable to the macro lagers available at this railway station bar, but it was served far too cold and not as flavourful as better wheat beers.

While technically a wheat, its very clear, and is almost more lager than wheat. Wonderful cascade flavor. I’ve had it in both bottle, and draft, and the bottle is much better. The hop profile seems to get lost on tap.

Hazey golden pour with medium head. Aroma is of wheat and maybe some honey. Taste is the same but more dominant wheat with a hint of spice. Smooth brew but nothing special. Not really worth a purchase.

Had on draft. Poured a very pale hazy gold. Large foamy head. Aroma of watered down citrus. Taste was very light wheat and oranges. I was very disappointed in this beer. Extremly watered down for a GI beer. Blah...
