| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 16, 2008 Yellow and a bit hazy. A light wheat beer for the masses seems to be the goal of this beer. Flavor is light, a bit of grainy wheat, a hint of citrus. Body is light and fizzy. Not much depth here, just a "Wheat Light" kind of beer that macro drinkers can enjoy and feel good about. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 16, 2008 Pours a clear lemon yellow with very light white head. Aroma is of overwhelming citrus and yeast. Flavor is Lemon and wheat but very light, to the point of watery. Not that impressive---definitely expected more from goose island. 17thfloor (1507), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Pours hazy light staw with a fine white head, very similar to the look of hoegaarden. Wonderful aroma for a wheat, citrus, yeast and wheat...doughy. This is definitely one of the most delicate American wheats. Spring water like crispness. Pretty sugary, subtle flavors, with a yeasty, un-malted wheat finish. A lemon might be just what this needs (which is always unfortunate to say...) jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 4, 2008 Goose Island 312 is a cloudy, light amber color with a lighter body than a standard wheat ale. Low bitterness, a smooth finish and a nice citrus aftertaste make this a refreshing beer. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 4, 2008 An almost gold pour with a white head and lace. Aroma of light citrus and hints of paper. Very light malt with a hint of a pleasant bitter finish. A bit thin bur overall pretty good carbonation. Very good refreshing drinker that has a good finishing bitter and is pretty solid all round. illini4ever (23), Illinois, USA

Taste is refreshing and flavorful for a wheat ale. If you like wheat ales, this is definitely a good one. This is better than blue moon, but I’m not a big fan of wheat ales in general.
