| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 24, 2007 I usually prefer something darker than a wheat ale, but this was really good. It’s mild with a solid bite of wheat malts. The honey and citrus tones are subtle but still nice, although I would’ve liked them to be a little stronger. Still, not a bad beer, although I’d rather drink two or three of them cold after mowing the yard than sip with a couple of beer geeks. keoki182 (305), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 24, 2007 Honey yellow color with no head. Aroma is wheaty with a bit of hops and lemon. Mouthfeel is very creamy, much more so than I anticipated. Semi-spicy wheat flavors abound. Solid but unspectular ale from a great brewery. WolfsBlood84 (103), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 22, 2007 I’ve had this beer many times on tap and bottled - Most recently from a 12 oz into a shaker. Pours a straw yellow with lots of haze and cloudiness. Nice head if you pour straight in. Looks OK. Aroma is very mild - slight wheat, slight citrus, a little earthy/grassy. Smells decent, but a bit light. Taste is very light (read: watery and slightly dissapointing), light citrus/lemon, slight wheat and thats about it. Overall, it’s very light and unforunately only 4.2%, but it is nice and refreshing on a hot summer day. You can do better, but it’s OK. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 12, 2007 Pours a sickly pale, cloudy yellow in a Weizen. Smell is obvious of wheat and big on a light citrusy lemon smell as well and is overall quite nice. Taste is wheaty, somewhat tart and lemony, and I can swear I taste the alcohol in this 4.2% beer though... Very thin, watery, and somehow tastes a bit boozy. I actually like wheats, but this wasn’t worth revisiting. MoDog (927), Griffith, Indiana, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 11, 2007 On tap, and served in a shaker. This beer poured a lightly hazed golden color with a one-finger thick, off-white head that quickly faded away to nothing. Some very faint lacing was left around the glass. The aroma of the beer was made up of wheat malt, very mild citrus notes, and also some grassy/hay notes. The flavor was crisp and light, displaying notes of wheat, lemon, and also some faint orange. The mouthfeel was refreshing and light-bodied with a solid dose of carbonation. I guess this would be fine to session outside on a hot day, but it is definately not one of my favorites. bilchak (45), Ohio, USA
