Pour was brilliantly clear golden yellow with lots of carbonation to display. Head and lacing not that impressive, as this style normally has more to offer. Aroma was herbal and fruity. Flavor was earthy, herbal, and fruity, yet no wheat bite and not nearly enough hops in the finish for an Am Wheat. Light body. Came across as a wheat-based blonde ale with little character, only decent drinkability. MoreHead (355), Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 28, 2007 This is a really poor offering from Goose Island. Pours to a hazy lemony yellow with a thin white head that dissipates quickly and leaves little lacing. Aroma is stale wet straw and the mouthfeel is bland. Flavor is more of the wet straw and grass, with no wheat, spice or dough to be found. Not surprisingly, the finish leaves a bad stale taste.
Stay away from this one!!
