Commercial Description:
Like the digits suggest, it's a beer that's densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don't filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

12oz bottle. light lemony yellow color has a slight haze. bright white frothy head. yeasty citric aroma smells clean. toasty grains play a part as well as mild bubblegum. a soft grainy easy drinking wheat ale. some fruit bubblegum and dry crusty finish are also present.

Bottle at Mcguilicuddy’s. Pour was brilliantly clear golden yellow with lots of carbonation to display. Head and lacing not that impressive, as this style normally has more to offer. Aroma was herbal and fruity. Flavor was earthy, herbal, and fruity, yet no wheat bite and not nearly enough hops in the finish for an Am Wheat. Light body. Came across as a wheat-based blonde ale with little character, only decent drinkability.

bought as part of a variety pack. poured slightly hazy gold, minimal head. aroma is light, sweet while taste was citrus and yeast. nothing special.

33 cl bottle, Fargo. Hazy golden colour, musty lemon aroma, both transfer to the flavor, quite citrusy, interesting but not my favorite.

For a beer that claims to be so meticulously brewed, including being unfiltered, this is quite pedestrian.

hazy yellow, fine white head, drippy lace, sweet wort aroma, light sweet malt flavor, lots of bready yeast character give the impression of unfermented wort flavor, light bitterness

This is a really poor offering from Goose Island. Pours to a hazy lemony yellow with a thin white head that dissipates quickly and leaves little lacing. Aroma is stale wet straw and the mouthfeel is bland. Flavor is more of the wet straw and grass, with no wheat, spice or dough to be found. Not surprisingly, the finish leaves a bad stale taste. Stay away from this one!!
