Commercial Description:
Like the digits suggest, it's a beer that's densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don't filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

The aroma and flavor of this american wheat beer is not too shabby. More wheat aroma and fllavor than most--overall a great summer ale.

Cloudy orange body with a medium creamy off-white head. Sweet caramel flavor with a hint of banana. Sweet wheat flavor with a light caramel ending.

Odd label on this 12 oz brown bottle. Pour is hazy like a wheat but not real cloudy. Lighter yellow vanilla color comparable to many american wheats. Slightly tart and somewhat spicy. Less carbonation than I like in a wheat, usually you think of wheats as being more of a smooth champagne tingle. It’s probably because it’s urban and not rural. Look out, I am torrified buy the wheat. OK for a wheat and as expected compared to other american wheats. Cannot hold a candle to Marzoni’s 22 or Harpoon UFO Hefeweizen. On par with Hopsun and Witsun. Better than JW dundee’s american wheat version.

Pale with white thin head. Light wheat flavor. A wheat beer for the ’Miller Light’ crowd.

on tap at the Elephant & Castle, chicago. pale light yellow color, not too cloudy. tall, thin foamy white head that goes quickly. aroma is grassy and faint wheat malt, more like a light lager. flavor is mostly the same, grassy and light wheat malt.

Robe blonde légèrement voilée surmontée d’une mousse blanche mince. Arômes de céréales. Saveurs de malt, de céréales et de houblon aromatique.

An old "standard" in the Chicago area, this unobtrusive American wheat is a solid performedr, but without too many beels and whistles. Easy drinking with a balanced profile, 312 pours a cloudy maize and sports a medium sized, quickly dissipating white head. Lacing is minute. The nose shows a bit of resiny hop character and the body is drying, with a lite citrusy finish. A good wheat beer for non-wheat beer drinkers.

Pours a cloudy, golden color with a white head. Not very much on the nose. Aroma is of wheat, citrus, lemon, and some spices. Flavor is a little stronger then the nose but it dies pretty quickly without much of a lingering flavor. Flavor is mostly wheat and a little bit of citrus. Not the best american wheat I’ve ever had.
