It does have a good bit of phenolics in it, like a witbier without the spicing. Big wheat character, though. Light and spritzy. Not bad. The hint of citrus flavor was a welcomed surprise. Crisp and slight citris flavor if you try. Best served cold on a hot day since flavor doesn’t get better as beer gets warmer. DMRz (224), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jun 22, 2007 Light golden clear color with no appreciable head. Aromas of very sweet malt, banana, and bubblegum??. The taste, as noted by others, is nearly nonexistent... There are flavors of citrus, light sweet malt, and perhaps a touch of hops. This is far too light on the palate - It is more like drinking carbonated water than beer. Not my favorite. gmcase (113), Indiana, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 14, 2007 Draft. Light color. Little head. Tastes watered down. Not like any other goose island beer because it is maybe the most boring. Tastes watered down. I would skip this one but it is not too expensive. purduebacchus (39), USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 9, 2007 Pours a light yellow with tiny particles in suspension and a small, frothy, off-white head that diminishes. This one is pretty clear for a wheat. The nose is sweet wheat malt and yeastiness. The mouthfeel is light and thin with a clean, smooth finish. Sweeter than most American wheats that I have tried, the flavor is light honey and wheat with a faint citrus in the the finish. A decent American wheat, and one that I wouldn’t mind seeing at a family BBQ. benfergy (46), Valley City, North Dakota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 3, 2007 Massive head, and a bold yellow appearance. Wonderful aroma, almost apricot-like, very much wheat. I’m a little underwhelmed by the flavor, but it’s still good; it’s a wheat beer that’s smooth, for the most part. Perhaps I poured it improperly resulting in the large head that made it a little difficult to drink. Either way, I will very likely try this beer again sometime, and I’d recommend it to others too!
