Commercial Description:
Like the digits suggest, it's a beer that's densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don't filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

Bottle: Pours a dull orange color with virtually no head. Has an earthy aroma with some hops and slight citrus. The taste is very uninspiring... it’s almost like a cross breed between a major macro and an average hefeweizen. It finishes on an almost sour note. For a beer, it’s ok.... comparatively to other wheat beers, it’s not good.

not bad, kind of bland. Basically what the discription says, it doesn’t surprise me in anyway or overwhelm me with something unique, but it is drinkable.

Available all over Chicago, the first couple I had went down at treat in a night club, come pool hall, in down town. We had been tipped that this place was the ticket and with every girl a 10-bid, the Aussie accent and straight-to-it charm was on form. The beer never tasted as good anywhere else but I can live with that.

12oz bottle labeled BB 091306. Poured a light to medium and slightly hazy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of wheat, bananas, and some citrus (all on the very light side). Tastes of the same (also very light and watery). Body on the thin and watery side.

Very dissapointing from such a good brewer. It does look unfiltered. But unfiltered what grass and lemon? I brought this home all the way from chicago?

Bottle. Light sweet apple, banana and wheat aroma. Hazy orange-yellow color with small head. Lemon wheat flavor. Nothing special - an average Am wheat.

Bottle. Poured a golden that was barely hazy with a thin white head, very pale. A mild citric fruit aroma with some sweetness. A pretty tart flavor but lacking the richness of a usual wheat. Had a clean, crisp finish. A bit bland.

Yellow hazy pour with a fluffy white head and some wheat floaties that actually add a little character to this beer. Aromas of lemon yeast and well its kinda like cat piss. Very watery in the mouth, citrusy and yeasty with a little bit of hops in the finish. Leaves an almost metallic taste. The good thing is they are selling a hell of a lot of these which will hopefully get them more money for better projects.
