Nose is light, bready with a very thin fruity component. Flavor is watered down, somewhat skunky, apple juice. It’s not undrinkable, just not something to be seeking out. blank (998), Washington, Washington DC, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 18, 2006 Bottled. The body had the color of an unfiltered apple cider. Medium-lasting off-white head. Mild aroma of tangy wheat with a little yeast. Flavor was similiar. Overall, just slightly better than your average ho-hum American wheat. TerryR (383), Oswego, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 15, 2006 Cloudy golden color with a small but sustained white head. Wheat and some citrus notes in the aroma. Creamy wheat mouthfeel and flavor. Not great but does the job on a warm day. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 5, 2006 Light yellow and hazy, white crown. Light to moderate carbonation. Aroma is of delicate citrus with a little yeasiness. Wheat malt flavor with hints of lemon. Not too much hop flavor. This is a very light and refreshing American Wheat , but not as good as I remember it when it first came out. Actually, I think I’m going to get another bottle because I think something might be wrong with this one (unless they changed their recipe). Regardless, Goose Island is still one of my favorite micros. 12 oz bottle, $1.70 at The Party Source.
