Commercial Description:
Like the digits suggest, it's a beer that's densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don't filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

Bottle. Not that great. Unimpressive, miller lightish appearance and pour, maybe a tad more golden. Not by any means unappealing, just nothing unique or special. Barely a wheat beer, saved by a hay / straw flavor with a moderate to strong citrus presence. My wife loves it.

Not really fair, I don’t like wheat beers, and this has a lot of wheat funk to the flavor. The fruityness makes the wheat flavor more distasteful to me. It is a smooth and fuller bodied beer for the type.

About what you would expect from a summer beer. Light and sweet with a yellow appearance. More my wife’s preference than my own.

Pours a clear pale yellow with a few floaties and very small white head. Light aroma, wheat and grassy, some floral. Nice sweet flavor. Nice summer beer.

I grew up with the 312 area code in front of my phone number, but fond memories don’t allow me to give this one a great rating (cool bottle though)). Basic, weak, an OK wheat beer.

Decent unfiltered wheat beer with somewhat weak hints of fruit and clove. Good Summertime beer.

Typically, I’ll turn away from things labled "wheat." But this is light golden in color, a light but thick enough head, and a mild nose, with a hint of fruits. Easy drinking and flavorful.
