Commercial Description:
Like the digits suggest, it's a beer that's densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don't filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

FCBF 09 It was great to have a wheat beer during this hot brewfest. Nice color, light and citrus flavor.

FCBF 09. We went back for more stout, it was gone, but at least they replaced it with another of their beers we hadn’t tried, this one. Pale color with a full head. Light palate but still a nice delicate taste.

(draft @ 2009 Flour City Brewer’s Fest - Frontier Field - Rochester, NY) Clear yellow pour with a light white head. Aroma is dry and grainy with some very light citrus and yeast. Flavor is much the same. Very dry at the front with a light citrus and some spice notes. Almost tastes like a witbier.

Aroma is floral hops. Flavor is similar, with some citrus fruit. Not much to this beer but not bad for drinking for refreshment.

22oz bomber. I couldn’t help but try one of these eventually. As my nickname is Blaze312 it seemed like a good idea. Pours a watery piss yellow color. Little head that eventually disappears. Aroma is wheat and slight hops. Taste is very comparable.

Draft pint from Cullen’s (and everywhere else) in Chicago. I’m surprised to see this one rated so low, as I’ve found it does really hit the spot sometimes. Pours a somewhat cloudy gold color with a medium white head. Aroma of wheat, hops, and citrus, which also characterize the flavor in a pleasant, light blend. Maybe this one suffers from perception and expectations because it’s pretty light bodied for a wheat.
