Commercial Description:
Like the digits suggest, it's a beer that's densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don't filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

12oz bottle today at Brickskellar, one of the few beers I knew I hadn’t had. Pours yellow with a bright white ring. Nose is sweet, wheaty, and light. Taste was sweet, light and just ok.

Bottle. Straw color, very nice lacing. Fairly straightforward American wheat with some tanginess to it, low hops ( I didn’t notice the Cascades), light body. Refreshing. Recommended if you like the style.

On tap at White Horse, Parsons Green. Very pale gold, greenish tinge, thin white head. Not a huge aroma, touch of soap on the hop, but really refreshing beer. Bit dullish, little bit of lemon edge to it, more an American wheat than a wit. Not very exciting but very refreshing.

Source:12 oz bottle from a sixer purchased at Chuck’s in BG.
Glass:Weizen.
Appearance:Hazy gold pour with a two finger white head.
Aroma:Wheat and clove with a hint of citrus.
Flavor:Clove dominates with yeast and wheat present.
Palate:Medium/light body with solid carbonation.
Overall:OK for a wheat ale. Not in the ranks of Oberon or Gumballhead, but OK.

Pours a cloudy golden color. Not quite as sour or as fragrant as most wheat beers I’ve tried. It’s a bit more restrained. Good accompaniment to food.

Cask at American beer fest White Horse. Cloudy yellow ale with medium head. Citrus, wheat summer beer. Rather bland beer lacking in complexity.

A Mes rate: cask handpull at the Sloany Pony.
Pale yellow with a thin white film. Faint citrus and yeast, some boring malt, lots of pondwater. Bloody hell. Rank. As the commercial description says, "not like any other Goose Island beer". Most of them are decent, some superb. This however was not either.
