Commercial Description:
Like the digits suggest, it's a beer that's densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don't filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That’s how you know it’s unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat. It’s not like any other Goose Island Beer, but no less that you’d expect.

A really bad example of a wheat ale...I had no clue the style before drinking and then thought it was a pale lager. Piss colored but at least had some lacing. Aroma was yeasty, skunky and lemony...it was ok. Flavor was slightly bitter but like in a bud way...fizzy, thin and just overall bad on the palate but not the worst.

Lemon and slightly dusty aroma, with a a thin yellow appearance. Mouth feel is very thin. Has a decent burst of fruity flavor at first, but dissipates very quickly with no lasting finish. Disappointingly one-note in flavor with little complexity.

An ok effort. Just letting it sit for a few minutes and warm up made it much worse. All of a sudden got a little woddy flavor to it and then dissipated. For Goose Island, I’m let down.

Pours a slightly cloudy yellow. Aroma of wheat with a hint of vanilla and soap. A very light flavored beer with hints of yeast. Not really that exciting.

On tap at Shorty’s. This central Chicago themed brew is advertised as "President Obama’s favorite beer." Pour is a transparent but slightly hazed golden color. Taste is lager with subtle hop and wheat. Thin on the body. Refreshing and enjoyable but someone needs too tell Mr. President, there are a lot better beers out there..

Nice cloudy golden body with a thin white head, this wheat has a clean yet more fulsome body, bit of lemon zest and banana, than many. Very refreshing on a mild day.

bottle from flssmrbrewalum... bottled 11/25/08 pours a hazy lemonade color with a vibrant white head and some sporadic spotty lacing. the nose is dusty... notes of earthy almost savory yeast, hay, lemon and rust. the flavor profile is pretty much the same with the addition of banana and red apples in the aftertaste. thin to medium bodied with a prickly mouth feel. refreshing pool side beer...6/3/6/3/14/3.2

Pours cloudy, pale yellow. Thin white head with good lacing. Aroma is wheat grain and citrus. Flavor is crisp with barley, wheat and a citrus. The citrus is very notable in the after taste. A very light and refreshing beer. A good cook out beer.
