Haslinger (450), Syracuse, New York, USA Apr 25, 2008 Pretty bland generic beer, on tap at Buffalo Wild Wings. Not too bad easy to drink. Wouldn’t buy again
Goblincat (326), Westland, Michigan, USA Jul 17, 2008 Pours a light hazy gold. The aroma is wheat and maybe some spicy citrus. The taste is American wheat and really not much more. Delirium (407), Santa Cruz, California, USA Jul 17, 2008 Draught. A kind of light American wheat. Not much hefeweizen character. Refreshing, but boring. brewcrew2002 (13), USA Jul 15, 2008 Not too bad, would make a good summer beer. not very much to say about this one. GTown (126), New York, USA Jul 11, 2008 Pours a moderately hazy-yellow with minimal head. Wheat and spices are weak. Not even close to Oberon or Whitsun. A disappointment from an otherwise fine brewery. Crafty07 (331), Lexington, Kentucky, USA Jul 7, 2008 Little aroma with decent color, this American Wheat is a good ’gateway’ beer, owing to the popularity of Goose Island in the US.
Not a bad interpretation of the style...the only problem is, this style is just lacking compared to the German and Belgian Wheats it’s derived from.
