Jokes (1453), Chicago, Illinois, USA Mar 13, 2004 Clear golden body with a fluffy, white head. Fresh, malty aroma with crisp grassy hops. Some light citrus notes, but also decent bready malt character as well. Rather smooth body that was enjoyable, but not like most pilseners with which I am familiar. All told, rather average. thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 9, 2004 Chicago Real Ale Fest draft inside the brewery. The glass I was served in formed a large sized head of finely sized white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a minimal lace. The body was uncarbonated transparent and straw yellow colored . It had a mild malt hop aroma and a smooth malty mouth feel with a mild lingering DMS finish. iwantalambic (1385), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Jan 20, 2004 Draught: crystal clear gold with a persistant bleached layer of bubbles. Aroma of grass, lemons and hops. Grainy flavours give way to a surprisingly soft and smooth palate with a refreshing bitterness. A beer I could certainly drink for a session. joet (1699), Fulton, California, USA Jul 18, 2002 A common pilsener that avoids the common skunk disorder but is still lackluster in crispness and malt flavors. Much closer to a Heineken than a Victory Prima. RugbyDog (1), USA does not count May 20, 2002 Excellent Pilsner. Has a refreshing clean taste. The finish is a little bitter for a Pilsner, but that’s a minor complaint. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA Nov 24, 2000 Good as Pilsner’s go. Fresh, crisp and clean. Nice malt nose and some hop spicyness at the finish. Drinkable.
