Sep 13, 2009 As SOB. Tap at the Clybourne location. Hazy amber pour. Sticky white head. The nose is great. Very authentic orange peel hoppiness with a touch of woody spiciness and a fresh fruity yeastiness. Sweet and peachy/berryish estery finish. Lots of fresh, crackery Maris Otter malts with a soft moderate bitterness. Very light astringency. Very nice bitter.

May 15, 2009 On cask at DOLA 09. Pours orange with a white head. Aromas of light sweet malts. Light malt flavors of caramel and toasted malts that are slightly bitter. Not bad.

Mar 23, 2009 Cask at Clybourn. Bright red amber with a bubbly wispy off white head. Aroma is super caramelly sweet. Caramel present is the flavor, but predominantly dry. Finish is bitter very dry. Very thin lacking body, not bad cask offering.

Mar 14, 2009 Updated: Mar 15, 2009Cask at Clybourn. Not the best bitter they’ve produced, but certainly grew on me as it went along. English hops are a whole different animal, but the toasty English malts definitely support them well. Poured a nice almost red with a fluffy head that disappeared into a thin ring. Nose is malty and a touch of EKG. Taste is floral and fruity, giving way to soft malts. Pretty tasty as it wore on, though definitely a touch sweeter than I would have anticipated. Nice though.

Sep 27, 2007 A lingering bitterness in the one. Malty and a littly fruity. The hop flavor is nice and subdued as it should be, but the bitterness is harsh.
