Poured redish-brown with good head mostly lasting. It had a strong doughy bread smell. Initial flavor was sweet and finished slightly acidic.

Aug 27, 2008 12 ozer poured into a shaker. Poured a dark amber color with a small tan head. Aroma is spicy with dark fruit notes. Flavor is spicy to start and has a dry finish. Medium-heavy body with low carbonation.

Apr 27, 2008 If it werent for the quickly diminishing off-white head it looked like a glass of ice tea. Had somewhat of a tea flavor. Not a bad beer but not my favoirite holiday brew.

Apr 24, 2008 I’ve enjoyed the ’05,’06. It poured a dark clear amber colour, nice full fluffy head. Well balanced, roasted malt character, soft nuttiness with pleasent caramel undertones and soft butterscotch toffee notes in the taste.
