12oz bottle pours dark amber with a short creamy offwhite head that stayed pretty well. Aromas of caramel, toffee, toasted malts, and a fair amount of citrus and spice. Flavor is lots of toffee, caramel, and toasted malts, a fair amount of citrus and spice from the well balanced hops too. Nice and smooth throughout with an almost creamy mouthfeel. I thought this was pretty nice.

Dec 14, 2009 Bottle at home ... brown ... thin white lacing ... sweet bright hop ... over fizzy ... sweet summer fruits ... quite hoppy ... but very very light fruity... ok but not really hitting the spot.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, light roasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Nov 18, 2009 Bottle. Pours orange amber coloured with a nice foamy and lacing off white/yellow-ish lasting head. Aromas of caramel, grainy malt, piney hops and ryebread. Soft texture. Flavours of malt, caramel, bitter hops, resin and cereal. Tasty brew.

Nov 15, 2009 Clear maber wiht a rather large beige creamy head. Sweet malty aroma with hoppy and caramelish notes. Hoppy flavour with pine, malts and caramelish notes. Finished dry and bitter.

Nov 15, 2009 12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully gone head. Aroma is grapefruity hoppy, light spiced. Caramelish, liqourice, pinewood and slight grapefruity hops. Medium sweet - nicely hops balanced bitter into the finish.

Nov 13, 2009 Pours a nice clear amber with a sustained off white head with very nice lacing... Grapefruit scented hops dominate mildly sweet english malts, accentuated by a toffee aroma, though the hop aroma does fade quickly... A quick hit of C hops gives way to a quick hit of the malt followed by a lingering dry finish devoid of a great deal of flavor... Nice beer, but i wish the flavor lingered...

Nov 13, 2009 pours a very clear caramel/amber color with a medium light tan head...nice lacing and retention. aroma has subtle citrus...grapefruit and pineapple...and significant maltiness...caramel or toffee. flavor has grapefruity hops with a roasty carsamel malt backing. mouhfeel is a bit watery but is rescues by a biting hoppy dry finish.
