| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 16, 2009 Pours a hazy ruby/amber with a smallish head, leaves decent lacing... Mild hoppiness over a malty english aroma with a touch of orange citrus... The citrus starts the flavor with a nice hit of malty traditional english flavors following... A touch dry in the finish with a subtle hint of sweetness, very good english pale... gsmitty80 (646), Washington DC, USA

I found it to be very smooth and easy drinking with not as much spice as the description is saying. Session-able and crisp I look forward to trying more of their beers in the future. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 5, 2009 The aroma was not as bold as I expected; subdued, malty and pleasant. A fine looking deep orange and amber beer. The head was fairly minute/thin. Lighter on the palate than expected -- buoyant almost, a bit thin and rather crisp. Flavor is malty, a bit of bread, and a definite citrus lingers. A fine beer but certainly not exceptional.
