jbrus (4024), Delft, Netherlands May 13, 2008 Bottle@Home. Strong sweet fruity aroma, mainly grapefruit, light floral. Light amber color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, pretty bitter, grassy, grapefruit, some yellow sweet fruit as well. Quite full with a dry finish. Flavorful, easy drinkable, guess it has all it needs for an IPA.
BeerBaron617 (75), Novi, Michigan, USA Jul 13, 2008 just poured a 12oz bottle of this into my trusty beer glass. It has a nice orange/amber color. The aroma is a little weak for my liking. And then the taste; It’s a bit on the weak side for my tastes, It’s almost between a good pale ale and a mild IPA(which is kind of an oxymoron)
But I would buy it again, if the price was right
Cheers! Pawola22 (31), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Jul 12, 2008 12 oz bottle from HyVee.
Aroma: Hoppy, citrus, not too complex.
Appearance: Orange, slightly cloudy, kind of thick coming out of the bottle. Head is small and looks carbonated. Goes away fast.
Flavor: Good amount of bitter hops, but not too much. Good carbonation and really smooth.
Palate: Medium body. Crisp, clean, smooth, bubbly.
Overall: Very drinkable. They serve it on tap in steins at DC’s in Iowa City, which made me very happy in school. Ethereal (723), London, Greater London, England Jul 12, 2008 Bottle, at home with renffisch, 25th June 2008. Golden with a small white head, this has a good nose of honeyed hops. Flavour wise, it’s hoppy but with a lovely perfumy sweetness. Good palate with a lasting hop taste, but not too fierce either. A good IPA.
blutt59 (501), Dallas, Texas, USA Jul 11, 2008 bottle, good amber pour , nose is grapefruit and malt, flavor of citrus fruit and slight malt , a little too bitter on the finish Miver (291), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 10, 2008 12 oz bottle. Poured clear amber with a medium sized off white head that left a nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus and floral hops and also fruity. Flavors of caramel malts, slight citrus hops, floral, fruity esters. Medium bodied and a pretty smooth drinkin IPA. Not bad.
