ipaordie (4), USA does not count Feb 3, 2006 Light malt; moderate hops, average head (lasting, white, w/excellent lacing); sparkling clear; no particles; beautiful amber color; excellent flavor -- not over the top like Red Hook; light-to-medium body; soft carbonation; my personal favorite! orville (141), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA Nov 17, 2006 aroma of sweet pine; pours a dark cloudy gold; flavor is a bold bitter but works as a session beer also. I love this beer, it has a great flavor and the hop resins linger on and on. This and the New Glarus IPA make living in the midwest alot less depressing. FOAMer (36), Bartlesville, Oklahoma, USA Jan 11, 2001 Hop aroma, flavor and bitterness comes out of this beer and slaps you in the face! The brewery uses Cascade and Fuggles and I think the Fuggles really come through in the aroma well! This beer is closer to a English IPA than an American one, well crafted and clean. Malt flavors in the background balance out the huge hop bill. If you are a hophead this is the beer for you. Brent (116), Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA Sep 24, 2001 A wonderful IPA. Pronounced floral hops with distinctive lemon character. Bittering just shy of too much. Very refreshing with a finish that reminds me of Earl Gray tea. branspra (53), Arlington, Virginia, USA Sep 2, 2008 Tap. Very nice hops with a citrius aroma. Appearance is very nice brown color and nice head. Flavor very nice.
