Got this for free after running a 5k. It was cold, fizzy and yellow, but that’s about all I remember. It wasn’t anything special, that I can tell you. Better than Coors, worse than a lot of micros. After running a 5k though, delicious.

From a pint/0.5L glass at the Gordon Biersh in LAX. Aroma is light, grainy and a little sweet. Appearance is a brilliant gold with a fluffy white head. Flavor is slightly sweet, grainy and rich in malt. Medium bodied, rich mouthfeel, yet still dry in the finish. Creamy and drinkable for its gravity.

Draft. Golden body, small white head, lightly sweet nose. Some light German hops and perhaps some sweet malt. Not something I’d want to have again.

Bottle. Pours clear orange-yellow with a large white head. Aroma is caramel malt and some light fruitiness. Flavor is malt with a bit of spiciness. Not a bad heller bock, but not all that interesting either.

Very weak aroma with some hops. Very clear and pleasant looking beer though with a tough flavor but gentle on the palate. Not a very flavorful or tasy bock.

Draught at Dulles International Airport, Washington. Amber/orange color, small offwhite head. Malty, fruity aroma. Malty flavor, some fruits, some spices. Quite mild finish.

Draft. Pours golden with some good orange color. Two finger white head. Some mild lacing. Light aroma of malt. Sweet malt flavor. Honey maybe, with a good spice hop to balance. Very good. Leaves a very mild bitter and sweet flavor. Not too bad. Glad I tried this.

Bottled. Fairly solid, good, not great beer. Pours an burnt orange color with moderately thick white head. Slightly burnt, caramel flavor tends to dominate. Sort of half a lager, half a bock and the hybrid work OK, but not great.
