Oct 13, 2006 This beer is a definite must for the malt lover. Very malty, with almost no hint of hops. Not too sweet but, fairly heavy.

Sep 11, 2006 This draft brew from Quarks restaurant in the Las Vegas Hilton poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that was quickly diminishing and left behind a softly carbonated light copper brown colored body. The mild aroma was malty.. The mouth feel was tingly and mild at the start with a mellow finish. The flavor was off with non-bock like astringent notes. A horrible one that I would not buy again.

Aug 15, 2006 Bottle from Richard (irishboy) Thanks! Pours out a brownish golden color with a thick white head. Smell is hops, malts, and yeast. Taste is sweet, slightly hoppy, kind of watered down. Very easy to drink, pretty smooth summer time beer. Maybe a little more alcohol kick than I was looking for, but all in all its not that bad.

Aug 10, 2006 Draft at the San Jose brewery. Not bad. Pours light gold with a white head. Not much on the nose other than some yeast. The body’s fairly light, not much carb, but this is not a problematically watery beer. Very smooth and easy drinking beer, but not too crisp, and no hop presence I could find.

Aroma is fairly light, with sweet malts, banana, spices, slight lemon. Not a big aroma, but what is there is nice. Flavor is a little grainy and sweet malts, a hint of cardboard with a dry finish. Alcohol is more present than it should be. The mouthfeel is almost nice and creamy, but too thin to be so. Moderate carbonation.

Jul 20, 2006 Bottle shared with HogTownHarry & tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a clear pale gold with a small diminishing white head. Mild aroma of sweet malt, sugar, faint hops and alcohol. Hoppy flavour is a bit too watery and boozy. Light bodied. A "Bock" eh? I don’t think so. Not very good.
