Nose is malty with a little fruit esters; Orange/gold color with not much head; flavor is citrusy malts with a hint of berries. Finish shows a small amount of hop bitterness.

I didnt think it would be anything special. I was wrong. This beer is hands down the jewel of Gordon Biersch Brewing. Very tastey not to bitter and no alcohol taste.

Tap at San Francisco airport

Pours clear gold with a sour strawberry aroma. Thick, viscous and a nice head. Flavor is watery strawberry and mango. Palate is thick. Not bad; nice and light pilsner with a slight fruit kick to it.

Tap. Sweet apple aroma. Medium golden color. Primarily straight malt flavor with just a hint of astringency. More like a lager than a bock - sort of like Shiner Bock. Tastes nice but very little bock characteristic in this one so I had to score it lower. As a straight forward beer, really pretty good. Maybe a good first bock for the inexperienced so as not to scare them away from the style.

The sample I had was old, but in no way tasted stale. The problem here was that the malt was stupendously unexciting. Heavy, sweet and utterly without any defining characteristic or element of excitement.

I’m drawn to those brews that look light, but have some kick. Straw colored with a light musty nose. Crisp malt flavor with a nice alcohol umph. Bitter finish is nice. Would have it again.

On draught at the Mission Valley brewery/ restaurante. Pours a medium golden color with a medium boddied white head. Aroma of malts and different summer fruits. One of my favorite Gordon Biersch brews.

Draught at the brewpub in Las Vegas
Golden color. Light fruity-malty aroma. Some malt taste, some sweetness, warming alcohol perception. Not bad, but...
