Very tastey not to bitter and no alcohol taste. KAggie97 (2480), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA

Pours clear gold with a sour strawberry aroma. Thick, viscous and a nice head. Flavor is watery strawberry and mango. Palate is thick. Not bad; nice and light pilsner with a slight fruit kick to it. shrubber85 (2995), Wallhalben, Germany
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 10, 2006 Tap. Sweet apple aroma. Medium golden color. Primarily straight malt flavor with just a hint of astringency. More like a lager than a bock - sort of like Shiner Bock. Tastes nice but very little bock characteristic in this one so I had to score it lower. As a straight forward beer, really pretty good. Maybe a good first bock for the inexperienced so as not to scare them away from the style. urbnhautebourg (974), Annapolis, Maryland, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 30, 2006 The sample I had was old, but in no way tasted stale. The problem here was that the malt was stupendously unexciting. Heavy, sweet and utterly without any defining characteristic or element of excitement. BCAR (216), Naperville, Illinois, USA

Straw colored with a light musty nose. Crisp malt flavor with a nice alcohol umph. Bitter finish is nice. Would have it again. Snojerk321 (2021), San Diego, California, USA
