Sampled draught at Gordon Biersch, Burbank.
Clear golden. Disturbingly neutral aroma. Sweet and reasonably malty. There’s a vague hint of the dense, near dusty malt character that I find so attractive in the best pale bocks. This is very light flavourwise.

Draft: A clear yellow bock with a strong taste of hops, bitter. I had this one in the restaurant by the same name, I would recommend a visit and sample other variants as well.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow/golden with no head. Earthy, alcohol, metalic malt, grainy, sweet apple juice nose, Bock like. Flavor is sweet apple/pear, some ale like earthyness, middle is pale malt, and finish is a metalic twinge bitterness. Body is thin/medium, slight richness, low carbination mouth feel. Drinkability Low/medium.

Lots of alcohol, but hard to notice its there until three or four later. Great to drink on the beach too, no heavy aftertaste or feeling in the gut.

Taste like somebody just mixed a blond and a bock... no head, fizzy, heavy wheat and malt character with some caramel notes.

Pours golden with a medium sized head. Lighter than any bock I have ever seen. Taste is spicey, almost Belgian like. Sweet, with low hops. Interseting and original brew.

Pours golden in color, with a hint of amber. Smell a little sweet and hoppy. Also has a little bit of an acidic aroma as well. Tastes malty with a little bit of spice at the end. Slightly roasty as well. Pretty tasty little brew.
