Taste is spicey, almost Belgian like. Sweet, with low hops. Interseting and original brew. mjg74 (2000), La Mesa, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 8, 2004 Pours golden in color, with a hint of amber. Smell a little sweet and hoppy. Also has a little bit of an acidic aroma as well. Tastes malty with a little bit of spice at the end. Slightly roasty as well. Pretty tasty little brew. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA

Light malt flavor with an unusual bitternes (no hop flavor). I sampled this in the San Francisco airport location. jayc (28), USA

Smooth going down, with an ever so slight fruity but nice kickback. Refreshing on a hot Puget Sound day --- great with the BBQ. Have a go at this and the old saying: "Gentlemen do prefer blondes’ will ring true! MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA

Lightly fruity and floral aroma. Sweet flavor and mildly alcoholic. Hints of maize. Alcohol finish. nchoward (24), Iowa, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 6, 2004 This is a malty beer like they claim. The mild hops is nowhere there ... you get a very sugary and sappy mouthfeel. I did not like the sourish fruity taste with no hops finish Goblincat (357), Westland, Michigan, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 6, 2004 Pours golden with very thin white head. Very little aroma... some skunkiness, but that might not be intentional. Previous review’s description of Sweet, then lemony, then biter describes it best. Bottle was slightly skunked, but I won’t hold it against them because I just got a bad bottle.
