This is a malty beer like they claim. The mild hops is nowhere there ... you get a very sugary and sappy mouthfeel. I did not like the sourish fruity taste with no hops finish

Pours golden with very thin white head. Very little aroma... some skunkiness, but that might not be intentional. Previous review’s description of Sweet, then lemony, then biter describes it best. Bottle was slightly skunked, but I won’t hold it against them because I just got a bad bottle.

On tap, Gordon Biersch, San Jose: It looks like a urine sample with a fluffy, off white head. Faint hoppy and sweet aroma. Complex. Sweet, then lemony, then biter. Despite appearances, it’s a keeper.

Tap@Gordon Biersch. Grassy, grainy, not a lot happening otherwise, fairly sweet and malty, hard to excited, even though it was drinkable.

(Draught) Pours a golden color with a average sized white head. Has a light bready aroma with some spices. Has a unique flavor of sweet malt, candy sugar, and spices. Descent Bock.

Pours a medium gold golor, white head. Light aroma, some biscuity malt was all I could really get. Flavor is mainly malty, a fair amount of hops and a bit of a tingle from the ABV. Average body. You could do a lot worse.

On draft in Hawaii. Gold in color with an averaged white head. Sweet smelling with a very sweet taste. A little too sweet for my tastes.

Thick and sweet taste: candy sugar and light summer fruits. Body didn’t seem as thick as the taste did. Finish was dry and somewhat hoppy.
