| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 30, 2004 On draft at LAX. Nice enough pour, and way better than the Hartzfield selection. Don’t go out of your way for this one, but it you stumble across one, you’ll be okay. unclebleen (620), California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 3, 2004 Pours a clear nectar gold color with a small off-white head. Aroma is very light. Flavor is a little more assertive than I expected...in a good way. I noticed a nice bitterness. Body is medium and pleasant. Aurelius (2655), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 23, 2004 Warm honey gold, good house glassware. Not much aroma. Very, very smooth drinking although perhaps a bit indistinct. ABV bittering kicks in at times on the sides of the tongue. Somewhat dry, with enough sweetness to cover the ABV. Some pale and biscuit malt flavors, crackery/biscuity with just a little tangy fruit in the buttery finish. This is an almost ideal beer for just about any food, but I'm thinking that seafood, pasta or Thanksgiving-type fare would be formidable. jsquire (2123), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 28, 2004 Deep golden out of the bottle with a short lived white head. Crisp and lively on the tongue. Carmel sweetness with not much else. More body than your average standard lager but still not very interesting. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA
